PTZ (Settings)
(Guardian 4, 8 and 16 channel only)
PTZ
is where you can configure your PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) options.
You can configure the following options:
•
Channel
no
. – Here you can associate the camera channel with your PTZ.
E.g. if your
PTZ was plugged into channel 3 you would choose the number 3.

Protocol
– What protocol is your PTZ camera(s) set to? There is wide selection, but the
most common protocols are
PELCO D
and
PELCO P
.
•
Address
code
– This depicts the ID that the PTZ camera is set to. This can be set to a
numerical value. (0 to 255)
•
Polling
– Configure automated polling. You can set the interval time.
•
Cruise
interval(s)
– These are the presets the PTZ cam will go to when polling.
