Troubleshooting
WARNING!
Before attempting to ser-
vice or troubleshoot the generator, the
owner or service technician must first
read and understand this instruction
manual and comply with all safety in-
structions. Failure to follow all instruc-
tions may result in conditions leading to
voiding of the product warranty, serious
personal injury, property damage or
even death.
• If possible, store the unit indoors and
cover it to give protection from dust and
dirt. BE SURE TO EMPTY THE FUEL
TANK.
• If it is not practical to empty the fuel tank
and the unit is to be stored for some time,
use a commercially available fuel stabiliser
added to the fuel to increase it’s life.
• Cover the unit with a suitable protective
cover that does not retain moisture.
DANGER! NEVER cover the generator
while engine and exhaust area are
warm.
