SOFTWARE UPDATE

TeraTerm usage

In case of possible locking that may occur on

the television, failure to detect prompts from

controller and/or keypad, failure of LED light to

blink or when the TV cannot be turned on com-

pletely, Teraterm must be used to observe "core

dump" errors that may occur. Printout showing

software status in *.txt format can be taken and

even examined. TeraTerm software can be pro-

vided from under the relevant product software

folder in the E-Library.

TeraTerm installation;

Install TeraTerm.exe program on your PC.

Once the program is opened, Set-up → Serial

port...is selected for port settings.

Window in the picture opens on the screen.

Port selection is performed and OK is pressed.

Thus, program is started for printing.

Port to be selected in Teraterm during port

selection; when mstar isp tool (software instal-

lation tool) is connected to pc using USB,

"USB serial port (Com#)" value is displayed in

"ports(COM&LPT) under "device manager" tab.

If "usb serial port (com#)" line cannot be seen

here, it means that software uploading appara-

tus installation could not be done properly.

Receiving LOG

File → Log… is selected from the drop down

menu.

Name and place of file to be saved is deter-

mined in the opening window. Once the "Open"

key is pressed, writing on the file starts.
