TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
The pantastir S/TP is a topper expressly designed
for the steam finishing of classic pants, jeans or
cord pants.
Finishing of pants without a crease, is carried out by
means of strong steaming action followed by a
powerful jet of heated air which expands the
garment and dries it.
The machine should be connected to central steam
and compressed air supplies, while the ventilator is
built-in.
The main features of the machine are:
•
Steaming and ventilation times can be
programmed from 0-60”.
•
Steaming and ventilation cycle completely
automatic, with brief bursts of ventilation also
during steaming for better distribution of steam
along the legs.
•
Possibility of manual ventilation.
•
Positioning of the pants at the top and cycle
start by means of pedal only so that both hands
are always free.
•
Pair of clamps supplied to close the bottom of
the trouser legs.

INSTALLATION
(Tav.01)
4.1 TRANSPORT
The machine is normally despatched in a carton
packing crate on wooden pallet, fixed in such a way
that it cannot move.
4.2
LIFTING OF THE MACHINE
For the installation of the machine, it is necessary
to arrange a lifting device able to lift the loads
indicated at point 3.2.
4.3
UNLOADING AND POSITIONING
After unloading the machine, remove the carton
packing, and position the machine on a perfectly flat
surface in a working environment with the following
characteristics:
•
the floor must be able to bear the weight of the
machine;
•
the walls must be at least 0.5 Mtrs at the sides
and 1 mtr. at the back, away from the machine;
•
it must be sufficiently aired; the installation of a
conditioning system to be activated during use
of the machine is recommended.
It is recommended to check the condition and
quality of the machine.
4.4
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
WARNING: Before making any electrical connection,
check that the main switch (ref.5) is off “O”.
The machine (as previously ordered)is to be fed at:
•
~ 400V/3 phase without Neutral/50 Hz
or
•
~ 230V/3 phase without Neutral/50 Hz
After positioning the machine, connect by means of
a 4-pole electric cable (3 earth
yellow/green) for 400 V, with the following
characteristics:
•
minimum section 2,5 mm²
•
maximum length 5 mtrs
or a 4 pole cable (3 earth yellow/green)
for 230 V, with the following characteristics:
•
minimum section: 2,5 mm² for the three phases,
2,5 mm² for earth.
•
maximum length 5 mtrs. and a suitable cable
guide, to the machine terminal box.
For longer cable lengths consult technical service or
specialised service engineers.
The feed cable must be protected by a magneto-
thermal switch:
•
In = 10 A (400V)
•
In = 10 A (230V)
The electrical system to which the machine is
connected must be provided with a highly sensitive
differential switch, to reach a suitable safety level
and the earthing system must be in conformity with
