necessary

CAUTION: If the problems continue after having carried out the operations described in this
manual, contact an Authorized Service Centre. Never attempt to make difficult reparations without
the necessary means and technical knowledge.
IMPACT WITH A STONE OR SOME OTHER FOREIGN OBJECT
1) Stop the machine.
2) Disengage the PTO.
3) Lift the cutting deck up.
4) Turn off the engine.
5) Pull the parking brake.
6) Check the blade fixing screws and the deck state.
7) Please check that the foreign body has not got into the turbine or the pipe.
MECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE
Always engage the parking brake, even if the machine is self-braking when the engine is off. Engage the
brake by pulling the lever upwards, to disengage the brake press the button and lower the handle. If the
parking brake is engaged while both blades and turbine are disengaged, the engine keeps on running even if
the operator gets off the machine. Frequently check the proper adjustment of the parking brake wire (fig.
27/1)
CAUTION: Should the machine loose its braking capacity, first of all check the pedal stroke and, if
necessary, adjust the wire acting directly on the wheels (fig. 27/1). Then adjust the wire of the parking brake
(fig. 27/1).
PEDAL EMERGENCY BRAKE
The brake pedal (fig. 1, n. 3) activates a series of brake linkages (fig. 27/2) then pulls a cable (fig. 27/2 acting
on the front wheels. When this pedal is not activated, it has to remain some mm away from the green frame
in order to have enough stroke for braking. Adjust this position via the adjusting rod (fig. 27/2, A) and the stop
screw (fig. 27/2 B). Should the operator notice that the machine has lost its braking capacity, adjust the cable
using the appropriate adjusting screws (fig. 27/2, A).
IF THE MACHINE DOES NOT KEEP THE IDLE POSITION
If the machine does not stop or drives backwards although the pedals are in the stop position, act on the
pump (fig. 28). This operation has to be carried out by an Authorised Service Centre.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The electrical system is protected by fuses which, if blown out, cause the whole electrical system to cut out.
These are located:
1) On the left side, over the battery there is the general fuse with 70 A/h (fig. 29).
2) The operation fuse boxes are located under the seat and easily accessible via the maintenance door (fig.
30).
