Winch and Lighting Tower S-1

1) HAULAGE WINCH (Fig 1)

A winch for haulage is installed under infeed chute and
can be used with chute folded or unfolded. Refer to winch
supplier instructions for safe use and maintenance.

2) LIGHTING TOWER

A tubular tower, raised by pneumatic hand pump,
support

s bank of six work lights powered from machine’s electric supply. An additional

light illuminates the infeed chute through a grill on the top panel.

Operation

(see Figs 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3)

Follow instructions on lighting tower decal.
To Raise:

1) Check air release knob at bottom of hand pump is
tight clockwise to seal (Fig 2.3).
2) Using hand pump, raise pressure to lift tower until
desired height reached.
Turn on light switch.

To Lower

: On completion of use, turn air release

knob anti-clockwise to gently lower tower to transport
(Fig 2.1).
To stop at reduced height, tighten knob clockwise.

CAUTION! Beware of overhead cables. Always

lower tower when moving machine.

Maintenance

Refer to suppliers’ instructions.
