TOWING / TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE
TOWING THE MACHINE
ATTENTION!: Do Not use the machine to push
or tow other equipment.
If the machine becomes disabled, it can be only
towed from the tow point located at the front of the
machine.
Use the mechanical brake release to prevent
damaging the propelling system when towing the
machine. The mechanical brake release allows a
disabled machine to be moved for a very short
distance (1.5 km (1 mile) maximum) and at a
speed not to exceed 8.0 km/h (5 mph). This
machine is NOT intended to be towed a long
distance or at a high speed.
ATTENTION! Do not tow machine for
distances greater than 1.5 km (1 mile) or
damage may occur to the propelling system.
Engage the parking brake. Open the water tank
door. To engage the mechanical brake release
tighten the nut on the mechanical brake release
until it becomes more difficult to tighten the nut,
and then tighten the nut two additional turns.
Disengage the park brake when ready to tow the
machine. Loosen the mechanical brake release
when finished towing the machine. Do Not leave
the mechanical brake release tightened during
normal machine operation.
TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE

2. Position the front of the machine at the
loading edge of the truck or trailer.
FOR SAFETY: When loading machine onto
truck or trailer, use winch. Do not drive the
machine onto the truck or trailer unless the
loading surface is horizontal AND is 380 mm
(15 in) or less from the ground.
3. If the loading surface is horizontal and
380 mm (15 in) or less from the ground, drive
the machine up onto the truck or trailer.
