Hitching (3-Point Side-Shift Hitch)
1. Connect the tractor lift arms to the lower hitch
pins (1).
2. Securely lock tractor lower hitch points arms onto
the planter hitch.
3. Adjust tractor upper link arm, as needed to
connect to planter top link.
4. Securely lock tractor upper hitch point on the top
link planter hitch pin (2).
Lower Link

Align center-lines of planter and tractor.
To shift alignment up to 1” (2.54 cm) to set slight offset
to plant on beds.
Offset hitch when converting from twin row to single
row planting operations.
To properly hitch the planter to the tractor, the planter
center-line and the tractor center-line must be aligned
with each other. The planter includes several types of
spacers (3) to position and secure the left arm of the
hitch. The left arm (1) of the 2-point or 3-point hitch is
secured to prevent lateral shifting. The right arm is
allowed with float on the right pin (2).
To adjust lower link:
1. Insert the necessary amount of open-end
spacers (3) to the left the smaller tube spacer (4)
until you have aligned center-lines of the planter
and tractor.
2. Add a combination of the remaining spacers to
eliminate any slack space on the left pin (5), and
minimize side-to-side play during operations.
3. Secure both sets of spacers with the provided
bolts, lock washers, and nuts.
4. Connect your lower tractor arms to the planter
hitch. Ensure planter locks onto hitch securely.
To shift alignment up to 1” (2.54 cm) for
slight offset to plant on beds, offset the
alignment no more than 1” (2.54 cm) when
making lowering link adjustment.
