Indicator Lamps
................The POWER lamp remans lt (green) whle the plotter s on.
..............The PROMPT lamp lghts (red) when the plotter receves data that wll cause the pen carrage
to move outsde the effectve cuttng area or receves the Prompt Lght command (T) from the
computer.
(ES [electrostatc adheson] models only)
......................Press the [CHART HOLD] key to enable the electrostatc adheson functon (the key's lamp
lghts). Press t agan to cancel the electrostatc adheson functon (the lamp goes off).
Panel Keys
......................Dependng on the settng screen beng dsplayed, these keys are used to:
•
Load a group of cuttng condtons retaned n the plotter's memory;
•
Shft the blnkng dsplay n a condtons settng screen;
•
Select the desred submenu n a menu screen.
..............Dependng on the plotter’s operatng status, these keys are used to:
•
Move the pen carrage;
•
Move the blnkng dsplay n a condtons settng screen; ([ ] and [ ] keys )
•
Rase or lower the numerc value of a settng; ( [ ] and [ ] keys )
•
Change the pen type. ([ ] and [ ] keys )
•
Press the [ ] key and the [ENTER] key concurrently to move the pen carrage to the upper
rght poston. To move the pen carrage to the orgn poston, press the [ ] key and the
[ENTER] key concurrently.
...........................Used to output a copy of the data n the plotter's receve buffer.
.........................Used to change the currently dsplayed cuttng condtons.
...........................Used to select the desred menu screen for settng a functon at the control panel when the
plotter s n PAUSE mode.
...........................Press the [PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode (ts green lamp lghts).
Press t agan to cancel PAUSE mode (the lamp goes off).
Dependng on the plotter’s operatng status, ths key s used to:
•
Temporarly suspend a cuttng or plottng operaton.
•
Set functons at the control panel.
•
Temporarly store data receved from the computer n the plotter’s buffer.
