4.25 Adjusting the Distance Between the Pens

This function compensates for the difference in position between the cutter pen and the plotter pen. First of
all, mount a plotter pen in the pen station and draw a cross. Next, mount a cutter pen in the cutter pen holder
and cut a second cross (the reference cross). The difference between the two crosses can be adjusted by
inputting corrective values. The setting range is within -3.0 mm to +3.0 mm, in 0.1 mm intervals.

(1) Press the 

 (PAUSE) key to switch to PAUSE mode.

(2) Press the 

 (NEXT) or 

 (PREV.) key until the following menu is displayed.

(6) After the crosses have been drawn, the display changes to the following.

Using the cross that was cut by the cutter pen mounted in the cutter pen holder as
the reference cross, input the values corresponding to the difference between the
reference cross and the first cross that was drawn. (In the drawing above, for
example, the difference is in the -X and +Y directions. In this case, input X = -
*mm, and Y = +*mm.)
Use the 

 or 

 keys to move the cursor to the items to be changed, and the

 or 

 keys to select the select the values and then press the 

 (ENTER)

key. To cancel the selection, press the 

 (NEXT) or 

 (PREV.) key.
