INSTALLATION AND SETUP
The original installation and setup of this bed and any options or accessories (rails, extension kits,
trapeze, etc.) must be performed by a GF authorized distributor or qualified service personnel.
INTENDED USE
The 3648 Bariatric Bed is designed for bariatric patients. The bed is ideal for long term use in the
home or nursing care centers. It is intended for all age groups with varying medical and physical
conditions.

Use this device only as intended and described in this manual. Do not use
attachments or accessories not recommended by GF Health Products, Inc.
WARNING:
This product has a maximum working load / maximum total weight
capacity, including patient, mattress, accessories, rails, etc., of 650 lb (295 kg), EVENLY
DISTRIBUTED.
WARNING:
DO NOT use this product in the presence of flammable anesthesia. There is a
possible fire hazard when this product is used with certain oxygen delivery equipment. Use
ONLY nasal cannula or face mask to deliver oxygen in the presence of this product.
