Perform the following as needed or between patient placements, whichever happens sooner.

Ensure all nuts and bolts are tight

Inspect bushings and lubricate all pivots with FDA-
approved lubricant

Ensure release pins spring back to locked position

Ensure retaining pins are properly installed in clevis pins

Ensure all electrical cables are free of frays, kinks, and
deterioration
X
Ensure brake and steer casters are operating properly and
orienting properly
X
Ensure all electrical connections are secure
X
Ensure all welds are free of cracks
X
WARNING:
Any discrepancies noted during inspection must be corrected before using
the bed.
