Repair

Repair Filter Housing Filter

Note

On Series B systems, the ﬁlter was removed

from the sight glass and a larger ﬁlter was

added near the coolant loop ﬁll bottle.

1. Drain the proportioner coolant loop. See

Drain Coolant, page 50

2. Remove cap (C) and ﬁlter (643) from ﬁlter

housing (630).

3. Pull out ﬁlter (643). Brush out ﬁlter and replace

if necessary.

4. Insert ﬁlter (643) into cap (C) and tighten cap into

ﬁlter housing (630).
