Troubleshooting (ES 1000 & ES 2000)

3A4603F Operation, Repair, Parts

Step 1:

Plug Power cord in and turn
switch ON. Connect probes
to ontrol board. Turn meter to
AC Volts.

110-120 AC

Power
Cord

Black

White

Green

Yellow Thermistor
Wires to motor

Step 2:

Check motor thermal switch.
Unplug yellow wires. Meter
should read 100 ohms.
NOTE: Motor should be
cool during reading.

Control Board

Step 3:

Disconnect potentiometer.
Plug power cord in and
turn switch ON.

To Potentiometer

100 ohms

Step 4:

Connect probes to positive
and negative posts on inverter.

Step 5:

Connect jumper across
pins 1 and 2
