9. Some information on SD Cards

9.1. Personalization of SD Cards

The scope of delivery of the GPSeye IN1 contains a SD card with the navigation-software.

This SD card serves simultaneously also as a storage medium for your personal commu-

nication (Address book, archiving of SMS, E-Mail, news of the IN-/OUT box, and so

forth).
Please look in the corresponding chapter „

15.9.1 SD Card

“ on p.

The great advantage of this approach is the individual profile of the user. In this way

several users (for example double reservation of tractors) can activate the personal profile

through simple insertion of the own SD card into the GPSeye IN1. The supplied SD

card is already personalized as “Master” in the delivery state. You as owner or system

administrator can very simply additionally personalize an arbitrary number of SD cards

for the use in the GPSeye IN1 as “Master” (for example master 1, HGV 26, license plate,

name, and so forth).
In order to personalize a SD card, select the

System

menu item. On both following pages

click the green arrow to the right in order to open the

System info

Click on the button

SD card

and then enter the desired card identification. In order to

finish the personalization, click on the button

Save

. The SD card is now personalized.
