11. Navigation

If the GPSeye IN1 has determined its position, this position then serves as a starting

point for the route calculation.

The current position is calculated continuously (approx. 1x per second) and represented

on the map of the navigation system.
In the case of using the mobile services GPSoverIP and DATAoverIP the position of the

GPSeye IN1 is simultaneously represented via the GPS Explorer on your computer. The

time interval of the data transfer depends on the chosen rate.

11.2.3. Important Notes on Safety

The navigation system in the GPSeye IN1 is an effective aid in order to make a pleasant

journey to your goal possible for you. You as a user also knowthat the navigation can

distract you from the traffic situation. Therefore please pay attention to the notes on

safety when using the navigation system:

Note:

If you did not understand the voice tips once nor are not sure what has to be

done at the next crossing, you can orientate yourself quickly by means of the map

or arrow representation.

Caution!

Do not operate the navigation system as driver during the journey in

order to protect yourself and other ones against accidents!

Remember!

The line and the road signs always have priority over the instructions

of the navigation system.

Caution!

Only follow the instructions of the navigation system if the circumstances

and the traffic regulations allow it! The navigation system also takes you to your

goal if you must deviate from the calculated route.

Caution!

Look only at the display if you are in a secure traffic condition!
