TO SET A RECORD OR REMINDER BY EPG (7 DAY)
1. When watching any Freeview channels, press TITLE/GUIDE button then MENU button to open EPG ( 7 Day ) page.
2. If you want to set a record or reminder for any event, use navigation and colored buttons to highlight and press
SELECT button to activate it. ( Use DISP/INFO button for more help )
3.The display will request if you want to record this event.If you select No, it sets only a reminder. You may see clock
icon near event name that you want to be reminded. ( Reminder option only works whilst watching the TV, it is disabled
at standby or any other mode ).
4. If you select YES, it asks for quality of recording that you want to set. After selecting one of them , it puts a clock
icon near event name and turns back to EPG ( 7 Day ) page. Also if you want to verify timer record, you may see event
in My Record List page.
5. Other record events may be selected by repeating points 2,3 and 4 above. Note that if a time conflict occurs then
a message will show that the second record event cannot be used as the first event is still recording.
6. To complete the record time event turn off the recorder by pressing the Power / Standby button on the remote. At
the programmed time the recorder will power up and record the selected channel and power off again once completed.
NOTE:
Very important that there is sufficient disc space to cover the recorded time.
HOW TO CREATE RECORDING ITEM
1. Press setup menu
2. Choose record program
3. Choose record show
4. Set the recording time(start and stop time for recording process)
5. Set the input source you want to make the recording
6. Set which channel to record if your input source is FreeView.
7. Set the quality of recording
8. If you wish, you can change title name
It is possible to stop timer recording manually by pressing STOP key. After recording is stopped manually, the system
switches to monitor mode.
As a shortcut, you can press Timer button on the remote control, instead of performing first 3 steps above.The timer
record list will be displayed. You may edit or delete existing timers or add new timer records using this menu.
Please check your disc before timer recording starts to avoid potential recording errors. If any error occurs, your timer
recording may be cancelled.
There should be at least two minutes between previous and next timer recordings
