In the version with manual control lever to operate the crimper proceed as follows (see Figure 1 ):
•
make sure the switch of the drawer valve is located forward in position ( B );
•
to operate the crimper move to right the lever knob (also intermittently as even stopping the action the crimper remains
under pressure in the closed position reached);
•
to reopen the press instead simply move the knob to the left (only a single pulse) and it returns to its original position of
rest and fully opened.
to operate the unit even by pedal kit (optional RXB008 ), proceed as follows (see Figure 2 ):
•
remove the metal cap from the inlets 4 , 5 and 6 on the back of the housing and insert the numbered ends of the three
pneumatic hoses to the corresponding pneumatic inlets; not remove the caps if the pedal is not connected ;
•
at this point you can choose the type of command better suited to operate the tool, lever ( 24 ) or pedal ( 30 ), by moving the
drawer switch on the side of the unit: pull back ( A ) to transfer the commands to the pedal forward ( B ) or push forward to
return to the manual lever; the operation of the drawer switch provides a command and rules out another;
•
during the use of the pedal, as the manual lever, pressing with the heel on the pedal (even intermittently) the crimper is
closing and with one push towards of the pedal the crimp reopen fully.
The operating positions of both commands, lever or pedal, are the type with spring return and therefore in the position of rest
are in neutral position (central or horizontal) and not very effective hydraulic effect.
When crimper is connected for first time, air will be trapped in components. To ensure smooth and safe operation,
remove the air by running the tool through several complete cycles until upper body of the crimper advances and
retracts without hesitation.
DO NOT EVER PRESSURIZE THE TOOL WITHOUT THE CRIMPER SCREWED ON THE UNIT. NEVER
PRESSURIZE THE CRIMPER WITHOUT THE DIES.
