VOIP GATEWAY32 supports sending and detecting the caller ID signals. The product can
send the caller ID signals to FXS extensions, and detect the caller ID signals from FXO line.
VOIP GATEWAY32 supports two Caller ID standards: FSK, DTMF, and for FSK, MDMF and
SDMF are all supported. For FSK, it support Bell202, V.23.

When subscriber A establish a call with subscriber B, A can keep B in call hold status through
pressing hook or flash key, and restore the call through pressing hook or flash key again.
A is called as the subscriber initiating hold, and B is called as subscriber in hold. When in call
hold status, voice data sending is stopped between A and B. Call hold function is not used
alone, and normally applied with Call Forward function.

1) Call Hold is only valid for SIP protocol;
2) Not only caller but also callee can start the Call Hold function;
3) When in Call Hold status, both parties can restore the call through pressing hook
and flash key;
4) In different applications, the phenomena may be different: if the product
interconnects with server, the subscriber in hold can hear music or silence because
of the different process capabilities of servers. And all are normal phenomena.
