13.5. Removal of the protective guards

In accordance with safety directives, all electrical devices, mechanisms subjected to high temperatures (except
in the collection of laundry), are to be protected by safety guards (covers) to prevent accidental contact with the
same.

DANGER!

REMOVING ANY SAFETY GUARD FROM THE IRONER IS AN ACTION EXCLUSIVELY RESERVED FOR
THE  CUSTOMER’S  TECHNICAL  SERVICES  (CTS)  OR  AUTHORISED  TECHNICAL  SERVICES  (ATS).
THIS MUST NEVER BE ONE BY THE MACHINE OPERATOR.
BEFORE  PROCEEDING  WITH  THE  REMOVAL  OF  ANY  SAFETY  GUARD  THE  PRECAUTIONS
INDICATED  AT  THE  BEGINNING  OF  THIS  MANUAL  AND  IN  THE  PRESENT  CHAPTER  MUST  BE
OBSERVED.

ONCE THE OPERATION THAT HAS LED TO THE REMOVAL OF THE PROTECTIVE COVERS HAS
FINISHED, DO NOT RESTART THE MACHINE WITHOUT REFITTING AND SECURING ALL THE
COVERS PROPERLY.

NEVER START OR USE THE MACHINE IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ARE MISSING, INCORRECTLY
