Clean the painted surfaces with warm water and a mild detergent. Never use a dry rag due to the risk of
static electricity formation.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the terminal
The terminal must not be flushed with a water hose or high-pressure washer due to
the risk of damage and moisture entering the terminal.
Painted surfaces can be polished with car wax once a year to keep them glossy and resistant to pollution.
If the payment terminal is equipped with a touch-
screen, it is important that water or snow doesn’t form a
connection between the glass and the metal surface. If necessary, wipe dry break the connection.
8.4.1.
Display cleaning
For the display module (part #1) cleaning use a soft cloth with isopropyl alcohol and ammonia based
cleansing agents. Use of solvent or diluting products is not recommended.
8.4.2.
KEYPAD cleaning
For the keypad cleaning use a soft brush to remove dust and dirt around and under the keys.
