Control panel

Removing the left control panel

Follow the safety guidelines listed in

Safety instructions

Follow the procedure listed in

Before working inside your system

Remove the air shroud.

Remove the internal PERC riser.

Follow the below steps to remove the left Control Panel:

1. Disconnect the control panel cable from the system board connector.

OTE

Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from

the system board. You must route the cables properly when you replace them to
prevent the cables from being pinched or crimped.

2. Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the cable cover.

3. Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that connect the control panel to
the system.

4. Holding by the sides, remove the left control panel assembly away from the system.
