1.  Network Role 

 

Network Mode:

Auto  IP  Alasing: 

set automatic backup. In cae of not knowing management IP address, it is 

convenient for the user to figure out backup IP by MAC address and go to visit device of this IP 

address. The calculation of backup IP: first 16 bits is D address is 169.254.x.x, after 16bits is 

calculated accoding to after 16 bits of MAC address.  For example: MAC address of a device is 

FC-AD-0F-00-0A-0B, and after 16 bits of MAC address is 0A-0B, then decimal IP is 10.11. So 

the backup IP is 169.254.10.11 and netmask of backup IP is 255.255.0.0. When the user set 

card  with  device  as  correct  address,  the  network  will  be  communicated.    Defauld  of  Auto  IP 

Alasing is open, and backup address of VLAN 1 interface.
