Open the Slide Baffle Rod per Step 2

Open the Door

Rake Embers to create a level bed on
the bottom of stove.

Slide damper control all the way
to the right to completely open the
damper.

OPEN

CLOSED

Pull Rod Handle out to rotate
between “CLOSED” and “OPEN”
position. “PUSH” Rod Handle in to
lock in position.

the start-up fuel to burn until the
kindling and starter pieces are burning
