Connection Overview

The

ION Director®

includes the following connection ports and displays:

3.2.1

MUI Sensor Connection

The supplied MUI sensor is connected to this eight-pin Mini-DIN socket.

DANGER

•

The eight-pole Mini-DIN socket (MUI sensor input at IOND) as well as
the eight-pole Mini-DIN plug (at MUI sensor) can easily be damaged
permanently if not handled properly, e.g. when contacts are bent!

•

Therefore, when plugging in the connector, make sure that the
polarity respectively the orientation is correct (arrow on connector
must be directed upwards)!

•

The plug must be easy to insert, NEVER use force, insert with care!

•

Mechanical damage to the plug and/or socket can lead to the
destruction of the

ION Director®

!

•

A repair caused by this, is not covered under warranty and will
therefore incur repair charges
