9.5 Fault Messages/Malfunctions
• Unplug mains plug to isolate unit
from electrical power.
• In the event of power failure, the
fail-safe drives of both ball valves
move them automatically into
their respective shut-off positions.
• Close maintenance valve (WH1).
If faults or malfunctions occur that cannot be rectified immediately, the system
should be taken out of service.
Take measures to prevent the unit being brought back into operation and mark it
clearly as Out of Order .
Supply of water to consumers downstream is assured meanwhile by the bypass.
The limescale treatment function is however not guaranteed while the unit is out
of order.
