Rear Side

The 

Fan

 prevents the computer’s central processing unit (CPU)

and internal electronic components from overheating.

CAUTION: To prevent possible overheating of the CPU,
never block the fan vents.

The 

DC-IN socket

 is where you plug in the AC adapter.

The two 

USB

 (Universal Serial Bus) ports allows you to connect

USB peripherals to your computer, such as a printer, pointing
device .

DEFINITION: USB is a peripheral expansion standard
that supports a data- transfer rate of up to 12 Mbps. USB
peripherals has a single standard for cables and con-
nectors. The USB standard allows you to install and
remove USB devices while the computer is on. Switch-
ing devices without turning off the computer is called
“hot swapping.”
