Connecting A Microphone

If you want to use a microphone for recording, voice commands
or computer telephony, you can connect one to Microphone jack.
To connect a microphone, do as follows:

Make sure the microphone you get is a standard computer

microphone with a miniplug connector.

. Plug the microphone into the Microphone jack on the computer.

Adjust the microphone volume in the Windows Sounds and

Multimedia control panel’s Audio panel section by clicking on the
Volume button for Sound Recording.

Adjust the recording quality in the Windows Sounds and

Multimedia control panel’s Audio panel section by clicking on the
Advanced button for Sound Recording.

Now you’re all set to use the microphone.
