6.1.2  Using GV-IP Device Utility 

The GV-IP Device Utility provides a direct way to upgrade the firmware for multiple cameras. 

Note the computer used to upgrade firmware must be under the same network of the camera. 

 

1.  Download and install the GV-IP Device Utility program from the company 

website

. 

2. Double-click 

the 

GV IP Device Utility 

icon created on your desktop.  

3. Click 

the 

Search

 button 

 to locate the available cameras on the same LAN. Or click 

the 

New 

button and assign the IP address to locate the camera over the Internet.  

4.  Double-click a camera in the list, and on the pop-up dialog box, click the 

Firmware 

Upgrade 

tab. This dialog box appears.

Browse 

button to locate the firmware file (.img) saved at your local computer. 

6.  If you like to upgrade all other cameras of the same username, password and model in 

the list, select 

Upgrade all devices
