4.1.2  Motion Detection  

Motion detection is used to generate an alarm whenever movement occurs in the video 

image. You can configure up to 8 areas with different sensitivity values for motion detection.  

 

             

                                          Figure 4-5 

The motion detection function is disabled by default. Follow the steps below to set up 

motion detection. 

1.  Select the desired sensitivity level by moving the slider. The higher the value, the more 

sensitive the camera is to motion. 

2.  Drag an area on the image. Click 

Add 

when you are prompted to confirm the setting.
