Single Point Positioning
With either the external GNSS antenna or only the built-in antenna, Geosun eFix R2 series
can be used alone for single-point dynamic positioning, and the positioning accuracy can
reach decimeter level as the best. Furthermore, decimeter and even centimeter accuracy can
be achieved by post-processing software Caravel PP.
Caravel PP is high-precision GNSS post-processing positioning and velocity determination
software developed by Geosun. It can provide dynamic/static differential positioning and
dynamic/static precise single-point positioning. With the global advanced proprietary
single-epoch ambiguity resolution algorithm, as well as several exclusive core technologies,
Caravel PP has been proven to be preeminent and robust in various applications.
Wide Area Differential
Wide area differential means to get precise positioning by satellite broadcast system and the
GPS correction data provided by ground stations. Geosun eFix R2 series can receive
wide-area differential signals. By differential technology it can provide the decimeter level
high-precision coordinate data without purchasing additional equipment or paying any fee.
CORS Differential
CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) is a continuous-running network system
of base stations, strategically located throughout participating states, applying technologies
of modern computers, data communication and internet (LAN / WAN) to provide different
types of exact GPS observations (carrier phase, pseudo-range), various correction data,
status information, and other related GPS services in real time to different types and
different level of users with different needs.
With this technology, eFix R2 series handheld can carry out long-distance RTK surveying
with centimeter-level accuracy.
