HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT

How to
Remove the Hydraulic Pump

1 Remove the power unit. See 6-3, How to

Remove the Hydraulic Power Unit.

2 Remove the drain plug from the hydraulic tank

and completely drain the tank into a suitable
container. See capacity specifications.

3 Disconnect the hydraulic oil return line from the

manifold side of the hydraulic oil filter.

4 Remove the hydraulic tank mounting fasteners

and remove the tank from the power unit.

5 Remove the pump mounting fasteners and

remove the pump from the motor.

Component damage hazard.
Improper alignment during
assembly can damage the
pump-to-motor seal. Use caution
when installing the pump onto the
motor.
