Replace the Drive Hub Oil

     

     

Note: Genie specifications require that this
procedure be performed every 1000 hours or
annaully, whichever comes first.

Replacing the drive hub oil is essential for good
machine performance and service life. Failure to
replace the drive hub oil at yearly intervals may
cause the machine to perform poorly and continued
use may cause component damage.

1 Select the drive hub to be serviced. Drive the

machine until one of the two plugs is at the
lowest point.

2 Remove both plugs and drain the oil into a

suitable container.

3 Drive the machine until one of the two plugs is

at the highest point.

4 Fill the hub until the oil level is even with the

bottom of the lowest plug hole. Refer to Section
2, 

Specifications.

5 Install the plugs into the drive hub.

6 Repeat this procedure for the other drive hub.
