Set Trigger:
The trigger option allows the user to synchronize the operation of the PDLE with other
parts of a system. Triggered operation can be used with any of the PDL variation
functions (triangle, random, sine, or square waves). In general, with the trigger enabled,
when one of the PDLE’s variation modes is activated, instead of beginning the periodic
variation immediately, the PDLE waits until it receives a trigger pulse to begin operation.
If it receives another trigger pulse while the waveform variation is running, it will restart
the waveform from the beginning (usually the lower limit value).
When the SET TRIGGER option is selected, the displayed screen allows the user to
enable/disable triggered operation and to select whether the PDLE responds to the rising
or falling edge of the trigger pulse.
SET TRIGGER CONTROL
MODE: Enab
EDGE: Rise
Use the left and right arrow keys to move between MODE and EDGE selection. Use the
up and down arrow keys to toggle between Enable and Disable (for MODE selection) and
between Rise and Fall (for Edge selection). The selections are applied immediately; it is
not necessary to press ENTER after making a selection.
From this screen, press the MODE button twice to return to the main screen.
