Maintenance

The terminal interface SC 553 Maintenance screen, shown in 

Figure 3-21

, has six selections:

[1] What Are You? – provides access to the What Are You? screen, which is described below under 

its own heading.

[2] Load Default Configuration – restores all configuration option in the DSU their factory default 

settings and performs a reset.

[3] Soft Reset – commands the DSU to perform a reset without altering its configuration.

[4] Firmware Download – provides access to the Firmware Download Screen, which is described 

below under its own heading.

When you are done viewing the Maintenance screen, type 0 and press the Enter key to return to the 
Main Menu.
