When you are done viewing the What Are You? screen, type 0 and press the Enter key to return to 
the Maintenance screen.

Firmware Download

The terminal interface Firmware Download function enables you to upload new operating firm-
ware into the DSU. Uploading of firmware is typically required when GDC makes changes to im-
prove performance or to include new features.

The SC 553 DSU can store two versions of operating firmware, designated as the Active Revision 
and the Standby Revision. You can have newly downloaded firmware immediately serve as the 
Active Revision, or you can store it as the Standby Revision. You can switch between Active and 
Standby Revisions as needed.
