Issue 7
[6] Channel Split Timing
Disable – DSU uses selected Network TX Timing to clock T1 transmit
data and channel send data (Default)
Enable – DSU uses selected Network TX Timing to clock T1 transmit
data, and uses the Ext Clk signal provided by DTE to clock channel
send data
[7]
Channel Respond RDL:
PN127 – DSU accepts the PN127 Remote Digital Loop test
command (Default)
Disable – DSU cannot be commanded into Remote Digital Loop test
[8]
Channel Inband DL Timeout
Disable (Default)
10 mins
[9] Channel Data Invert
Tx Normal, Rx Normal (Default)
Tx Invert, Rx Normal
Tx Normal, Rx Invert
Tx Invert, Rx Invert
[a] Channel Clock Invert
Tx Normal, Rx Normal (Default)
Tx Invert, Rx Normal
Tx Normal, Rx Invert
Tx Invert, Rx Invert
[b] Channel Auto Clock Invert
Disable (Default)
Enable – DSU monitors for data/clock misalignment in DTE data, toggles
automatically between Normal and Invert conditions to compensate
for detected misalignment conditions
[c] Channel Constant DCD:
Disable – DCD ON while DSU is in data mode (not blocked by alarm
condition or diagnostic mode) (Default)
Enable – DCD forced ON
[d] Channel Constant DSR:
Disable – DSR ON while DSU is ready to accept data (not blocked by
diagnostic mode) (Default)
Enable – DSR forced ON
[e]
Channel Constant CTS:
Disable – CTS follows RTS (Default)
Enable – CTS forced ON
[f]
Channel EIA Test Leads
Disable – DTE Test Leads LL and RL disabled (Default)
Enable – DTE Test Leads LL and RL enabled
[g] Channel Routing:
Network – channel data from DTE is directed to the network interface
(Default)
Cascade – channel data from DTE is directed to the Cascade Port
interface
[h]
Channel Redundancy
Disable – Channel Redundancy feature Off – DSU always transmits and
receives channel data by the T1 interface selected by the Channel
Routing option (De-fault)
Enable – Channel Redundancy feature On – DSU transmits and
receives channel data by the T1 interface selected by the Channel
Routing option while that link is available, automatically redirects data
through the other T1 interface if the configured link malfunctions.
Consult
for an illustration of how this feature operates.
