Installation and Operation Manual

[3] Far-End Network displays statistics, accumulated by the Telco switching office, on error events 

at the remote DSU to which the local DSU is linked.

The source of the statistics on display is identified by the title at the top of the screen.

When you are done viewing the screen, type 0 and press the Enter key to return to the Monitor/ 
Status menu.

TR54016 Interval Statistics Screens

The TR54016 Interval Statistics screen, shown in 

Figure 3-20

, presents detailed information on a 

selected error condition. As with the Current and Total Statistics described above, you can display 
Interval Statistics accumulated in any of three locations.

Because the display of Interval Statistics fills the entire screen, the selection of their source requires 
a separate screen, shown in 

Figure 3-19

. The Interval Statistics Selection screen provides three 

choices:

[1] Near-End User displays statistics on error events at the local DSU that are accumulated by the 

DSU itself.

[2] Near-End Network displays statistics on error events at the local DSU that are accumulated by 

the Telco switching office.

[3] Far-End Network displays statistics, accumulated by the Telco switching office, on error events 

at the remote DSU to which the local DSU is linked.

Type the number that corresponds to the source of the statistics you want to view, and press the 
Enter key. The Interval Statistics screen then appears.
