This document applies to the professional maintenance of the following products:
• Geberit Piave washbasin tap, deck- and wall-mounted
• Geberit Brenta washbasin tap, deck- and wall-mounted
This document applies to the models of these washbasin taps with Bluetooth® interface. The
specification plates for these washbasin taps are labelled with ‘IWT-17-A’ and the Geberit Connect
logo.
Target group
Maintenance and repair work on this product may only be performed by skilled persons. A skilled
person is a person who, due to their specialist education, training and/or experience, is able to
recognise risks and avoid hazards that may arise when using the product.
Intended use
The Geberit washbasin taps Piave and Brenta are intended to extract tap water. Using them for any
other purpose is deemed improper. Geberit accepts no liability for the consequences of improper
use.
Explanation of warning notes
Warning notes are placed at the location at which the hazard may occur.
Warning notes are structured as follows:
WARNING
Nature and source of the hazard
Possible consequences if the hazard is ignored.
▶ Measures to prevent the hazard.
The following signal words are used to indicate residual hazards in warning notes and important
information.
Symbol Signal word and meaning
CAUTION
The signal word denotes a hazard with a low degree of risk which, if not avoided,
could result in minor or moderate injury.
