• In the event of malfunctions, shut down the valve (disconnect from the power
and air supply) and secure it against being used.
• Never reach into the lantern (1) or the valve housing (2) when the valve is
switching. There is a danger of injury to fingers.
•
Before starting any maintenance, servicing or repair work, disconnect the
valve from the power supply and secure it against inadvertently being
switched back on again.
• Only allow a qualified electrician to carry out any work on the electrical power
supply.
•
Check the electrical equipment of the valve at regular intervals. Immediately
remedy loose connections and molten cables.
• If work on live parts cannot be avoided, call in a second person, who can
operate the main switch in case of an emergency.
• The housing sockets have very sharp edges. When transporting and installing
the valve be sure to wear suitable protective gloves.
