The “Switched Neutral” Circuit is designed to prevent
operation of the following components, in the advent of the
main door being left ajar to assist residual drying and/or a
malfunction of the Power Control Board activating the
Relay/Triac outputs:
• Detergent and Rinse Aid Dispenser
• Heating Element
• Water Inlet Solenoid Valve
• Wash Motor
• Fan Motor
Operation of the Door Micro Switch is therefore a 120V AC
Neutral Circuit, which in the COM to NC position, open
circuits the switched neutral circuit and hence prevents the
operation of the above components.
