Troubleshooting your Legend IP system

Following are the most common troubleshooting issues and their solutions.

• I forgot my passcode.

Reset the dome to factory defaults. See

Resetting the dome

on page 101 for more information.

• I can’t get the programming interface to open.

Contact technical support. See

Contacting technical support

on page 111 for web, e-mail, fax, and phone

information.

• I can’t get the programming interface to respond.

First, reboot the camera with the keypad using the procedure in

Rebooting the dome

on page 101. If that

doesn’t work, then reset (cycle) the power to the dome by turning the power off then on.

• I can’t get the programming interface to close.
