8.2 Maintaining the Work table
WARNING
Anytime you have the window open, always make sure you have properly engaged
the window on correct position of the metal support rails. Failure to do so may pose a
crush risk if any part of your body is within the vicinity of the work area.
8.2.1 Cleaning the Work Table System
Clean the working table on a frequent basis through the following steps:
1) Turn the power off, release the gas, and unplug the LaserPro FMC280 before cleaning.
2) Use a vacuum cleaner with a flexible nozzle to remove dust and debris from the work
table.
3) Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the drawer as well.
CAUTION
• Never pour or spray alcohol or acetone directly to the work table.
• Oil, alcohol and acetone can cause fires or smoke build-up if improperly used.
8.3 Cleaning the Optics System
8.3.1 Removing the Protection Window
We recommend that you check the Protection window and Focal lens once or twice a
week to see if they require cleaning. If any debris or smoke residue is present, use the
following steps to clean them. The following section will illustrate the location of the
lenses found in the machine for cleaning. Below steps will teach you how to clean and
the all operation procedures need to be very careful.
Protection Window
The protection window is located inside the carriage of the LaserPro FMC280.
(1) Remove the cover slide by depressing the buttons on either side of the Cover Slider
Drawer.
