Remove the keyboard cover by following the steps in 

“Replacing the keyboard 

cover” on page 76

.

Open the LCD panel to the fully open position.

4

Remove the rubber inserts from the front of the LCD panel assembly.

Important

You can complete this procedure with the LCD panel assembly connected to 

the notebook. LCD panel assembly shown removed from notebook for clarity.
