Front panel
The front panel provides controls to support system maintenance and
provides access to removable media drives. See the illustration Front Panel
below for the locations of the front panel features.
Front Panel
Dual redundant 400-Watt power supplies
Power is supplied to the CPU system drawer by an RAC-400 power supply
subsystem. This subsystem receives its power from two, hot swappable,
400-Watt power supplies which are removable from the front of the system
drawer. If one power supply should fail or become inoperative, it may be
changed out without shutting down the system. The system will continue
receiving power from the remaining power supply while the exchange is
taking place.
A voltage selection switch is located on the upper front of each power
supply. These switches must be set for the appropriate input power (either
110V or 220V).
