Replacing the audio card (for FMC-901X model only)

Remove the audio card. You can slightly seesaw the card end-to-end to
loosen the card, but do not bend the card sideways.

Install the replacement audio card into the slot. You can slightly seesaw
the card end-to-end to help insert the card, but do not bend the card
sideways.

Connect the two audio cables on the audio card.

Secure the audio card with the screw you removed in Step 6.

Reinstall the case cover by following the instructions in “Closing the
Family Media Center case” on page 7.

Reconnect the power cord and modem, network, and all peripheral device
cables.
Warning Do not touch the contacts on the bottom part of the audio
card. Touching the contacts can cause electrostatic
damage to the card.
