Appendix A – Module Adapter for VF-40

Intraplex Products

Warning!

Hot insertion or removal of a module adapter while a channel module is in place is not

recommended, as it could damage the channel module or the module adapter. To

remove a module adapter while the system is turned on (has power), first remove the

associated channel module. Similarly, to install a new channel module, first install the

module adapter and then install the module itself.

To install the MA-311 module adapter, perform these steps:
1.

At the rear of the chassis, insert the MA-311 into the same slot position in which the VF-40

module has been installed.

Once the module adapter is seated securely, secure the unit with the screws provided.

Plug the connector into the module adapter.
