The set of jumpers on the four DCE models (MA-412, MA-412A, MA-413, and MA-414B) are used to
determine the derivation of the transmit clock signal for the module (Figure A-7). There are four
possible settings:
●
Normal – The Transmit Clock is sent from the MA to the DTE device (the factory default).
● Inverted – The Transmit Clock is sent from the MA to the DTE device; this is the same outside
the MA as Normal, but the data is clocked in on the rising edge instead of the falling edge of the
clock signal.
● External – The Transmit Clock derives from the DTE device (SCTE).
● None - Disable the Transmit Clock, if the DS-64NC module is set up as Receive only. (Example:
Video Codec application would be set up in Receive Mode only).
