water. Always wipe off spilled liquids immediately. Do not place any
clothes or tissue or other foreign objects under or on the appliance
during operation, to avoid risk of fire, electric shock and overheating.
Do not block the ventilation slits in the heating base and the cover.
• Always keep the appliance in sufficient distance to the edge of the
table or counter and to other objects. For operation, leave at least
50 cm of free space above the appliance and at least 10 cm of free
space on each side, to ensure good ventilation and avoid damage
due to steam and overheating. Do not operate the appliance under
overhanging boards and drop-lights or near any delicate objects
(e.g. curtains). Always remove the food trays, before moving the
appliance to avoid that the food trays fall.
• This appliance may be used or handled by persons (including children
from 8 years and above) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety and understand the possible hazards. Even
cleaning may not be performed by children without supervision.
