Congratulations on your purchase of the Design Coffee Grind & Brew Advanced
Pro.
Your new Gastroback´s coffee brewer with integrated burr grinder grinds your
choice of beans just prior to brewing, for maximum freshness, flavour and taste. The
eight strength settings vary the amount of freshly ground coffee for a mild, medi-
um or intense brew. Simply select the desired strength and the Brew IQ System will
intelligently dose the correct amount of coffee beans to ensure a consistent strength
regardless of whether you choose a single cup, travel mug or fill the carafe with up
to 12 cups.
What's more, this is the first drip coffee brewer featuring adjustable stainless steel
burrs. Thus, you can select the coarseness or fineness of the coffee powder to opti-
mise flavour balance. In calibration mode you adjust the amount of coffee delivered
on any strength and cup size setting to suit coffee of varying grind size, origins, age
and degree of roast, so you can achieve the maximum flavour potential from any
coffee you choose. However, you can even deactivate the grinder for using your
preferred amount of pre-ground coffee. Due to the provided long-life gold tone filter,
using paper filters is no longer necessary.
Your new Design Coffee Grind & Brew Advanced Pro gives you the flexibility to
brew directly into a cup, travel mug or the provided stainless steal carafe. Set the
optional Auto Start feature and your morning coffee will wait for you to rise.
